Would running a 255/45/18 be bad for the allroad?

Default no, when I was buying my 2004 many people here ran them because they were much cheaper than 245/45

worst you'll have is your speedo will show you going a bit slower than you really are

Default That size would be slightly taller than stock...

though, probably wouldn't hurt anything. 245/45/18 is the correct size.

with the right offset you could run 265 I bet. Anyone do this?

Default I go the other direction for performance- 245/40-18

for the track since noone makes the correct size in an R-compound tire. No issues other than speedo way off.

Uhm no I have been using them for 3 years, allroad S4 type rims are 18 x 8.5 wide
