My car came with Xenons, but dipped beam only.
Anyone experimented with blue tint halogen bulbs, in the main beam, for a better match?
Blue light and warm light are screwing up my eyes.
What wattage can one get away with safely without singing the reflectors?

You'll get a lower output (in lumens) than equivalent white bulbs, reflect less, and cause more glare to oncomming drivers, sheep, etc...
;-) The stock xenons produce white light, with purple refractions around the perimeter only - because of the projector lenses.
PIAA makes a 3800k bulb, "Superwhites", that makes a very nice white light as compared to ordinary bulbs.

Ok, have a look at the link and give me your opinions.
Remember, I don't want to scortch that reflector, and want as much light as possible.

Powerbulbs

My 2001 AR uses H9 bulbs and I have searched the internet for 5100K replacement bulbs for months only to have everyone turn me down.
