The Minnesota manual states: "Drive in a counter-clockwise direction. Do not stop or pass other vehicles."
We are just starting to get a few of the roundabouts. After driving in Europe there needs to be a change. More roundabouts and less stoplights. They are much more effective at moving traffic.

Roundabout??? Simply wrong everywhere I have ever been.
I almost get killed every time going right on the ONE roundabout in nashville. I believe most people believe the bricks make for a good drifting circuit, prompting extreme speeds. The statue in the middle of the roundabout does a pretty good job of blocking your view of 3/5 of the incoming streets.
