My e tron just arrived yesterday but it is now grounded along with the others at the dealer. They moved them all to the very far back lot. These are going to take a long while to fix and get back on the road. And they said the issue affects a lot of vehicles. Reminds me of my Cayenne Diesel issue...lots of vehicles sitting on dealer lots. This is a train wreck for Audi and very disappointing. Not sure if I will wait it out or move on given the issue and other disappointments. I have a couple of months in my current lease to see what happens. My guess is this will force Audi to give some significant discounts now, above and beyond Audi care.

Count me in as included in the recall. I haven't heard from Audi, only saw by plugging my vin into the above link.

I plugged in my VIN and got "No Recalls" and "No Service Campaigns". My Prestige VIN ends in 013xxx. The car has yet to be delivered and has been stuck at the Davisville port for a week now.

None of this seems very logical. If newer builds don't have the problem that means there was a solution available. Why would Audi say that there is no fix available yet?

your VIN number sounds high. 013XXX means 13,000 produced. IS that possible? My car was 007092 = 7,092 produced in 02/19

Uhoh. Yesterday my prestige VIN, which is at 010***, did not show up in the recall database, but today, it does.

EDIT: Ok, that's bizarre, 5 minutes later, it no longer shows the recall again.

My alleged VIN is 15xxx and not currently affected. Could mean there was a part change, change in process or the site is not up to date yet.

FWIW CarGurus lists the VIN number of all cars available for sale. Seems like this issue is affecting all cars with a build number below 008800. Ours is just above that number and is showing no recall yet. Production of our car started the week of 3/28 and finished 4/19. Our E-Tron has been sitting in Houston since 5/21 and the dealer a couple days ago was telling us that there are so many cars are in the country that delivery was backed up. Seems that this is the reason why it has been sitting in Houston.
