Wow, really playing into the Audi stereo type. Four shades of gray and black and white. A new brown and plasma blue. I wish that they would bring back one crazy color at least. What happened to Antigua Blue...

nearly no one bought it…so there’s no point in continuing to offer it

Every new audi ever brought in in history sells. However, the demand for that color was extremely low. The demand for orders of that color were also extremely low. When the take rate is low, the xooor gets dropped almost as quickly as it arrives. And as such, there was 0 use case to continue to offer it.

Smurf Blue (and its near variants) has always been a tough sell. BMW used to offer that for the 3 series. The Porsche version - Miami Blue - comes and goes. Those are fun colors for a while but in reality on most vehicles it just doesn't age well (true sports cars wear it best and pull it off best). Conservative colors like white, black, silvers and grays always sell and tend to look "good" (however you want to define that) for the longest time periods.

In the time I owned that car, countless people would walk up and say that they would never have ordered that color but that in person it was beautiful. I think that is the thing with crazy colors. You have to see them to appreciate them but they are pretty amazing.
I saw a purple RS6 Avant this past summer that was stunning. The owner said that he had custom ordered it through Audi with a Porsche paint palate program. But it was amazing and the purple color changed in the light. Who knows, maybe this brown is something special.

I wish Audi included more details in its website about the tech/assistance features, especially for e-Tron line as they compete with tech feature heavy cars.
For example, it is impossible to tell if this model has the new AR heads up display or the older one? and I can't tell if Intelligent Park Assist is same/worse/better than Remote Park Assist Plus in 2023 Q8, or whether there are any improvements in lane centering. The feature reads exactly same as what it was listed on my '19 Q7 Prestige.
