22 inches wheel for Audi e-tron standard (Hatchback)
Audi offers 22 inch wheel on E-Tron Sportback but not on regular hatchback.
A. Does anyone know why?
B. Is there any 22" wheel can be installed on 2019, 2020 and 2021 (of course no modification to suspension or etc. shall be needed!)?
I was very skeptical with 21 “ which looks great I went ahead and got it however I have read about that there is loss of range and higher risk of tire blow out and rim damage as you go up with tire inches.
also bigger tires thread wear easy ans need replacement early which are more expensive compared to 19-20 inch.
you will be fine with install however few points to keep in Mind
That's true but THE LOOK is telling you a different story!
There are several pictures online (if you google) but seems that they have done some modification in order to fit; that's why I was curious if could be done without any modification and what shall be the correct size.
I checked out and if you have a 21" (265 45 R21), compatible ratio will be (265 40 R22) but yet not sure if car will have any issue with it. I don't want to turn on Christmas Lighting on dash !

I have 22” on my 2021 E-tron (a 55). Regular model, not Sportsback, factory-ordered the car and 22” came as an option here in Northern Europe (at least when I ordered last fall). No modifications needed. I even reused my Q8 winter wheels with a 285 side wall with no issues whatsoever (confirmed with the dealer that it was ok, had only to install TPMS on those). It obviously costs a bit of range with 22”, but great ride comfort, and (thankfully) no potholes around here

If it helps, I switched from 21s to 20s on my 2021 e-tron a couple of weeks ago and immediately noticed better efficiency, both in town and on the highway. I'd estimate the difference to be 10% or so, more in certain circumstances.
