Contact Audi USA about your case. Your service department is not going to help you on this one outside of maybe an Audi gift card which has to be used there. Audi USA might actually just send you one of their Audi Visa gift cards they seem to have drawers full of.
I filled out the reimbursement form, attached receipts, and stated I was forced to buy another home charger and have my nema replaced. I'll try to update when I get a reply.

I had an issue with Audi Connect where it billed at the wrong rate when it renewed. I called and Audi figured it out in a few days. Ultimately they refunded the overcharge to my credit card and then they also sent me $200 Visa gift card for my inconvenience. I have also dealt with Audi before on more serious issues and received nothing. However, those issues did not deal with billing.

The long cable (from brick to car) still gets fairly warm (they saved a few bucks on copper with that one as well).
Got my recall work done today. Big problem for me is that the new L2 cable has the plug facing the wrong way! I can only mount it with the face of the brick facing the wall or face down on the stool! Still, rigged it that way and it is currently charging at 8.8 kW.

The pigtail’s also half the length of the old one. Cheap bastards!

I have a 2019 etron Prestige. I had the 93U6 recall “completed” only to find that the plug is rotated 180 degrees. As mentioned before, the brick now faces the wall. This means it can’t be mounted with the Audi wall mount unit, the lights aren’t visible and the toggle for 50%-100% is unavailble when plugged in. How many others have noticed this? My service manager said “it’s the design” but for a company that prides itself on details this seems unlikely.

This is what my setup looks like. I used Mini Quick Fist Rubber Clamps that cost about $10. The charger can be removed easily if need be, and it creates a 1" gap between the charger and the wall for better heat dissipation. I should add that the EVSE has the original cable in this photo, but it works the same way with the new cable.

It is NOT a "design". My Dealer agreed it was faulty production and said that Audi USA was aware of the issue and working with their supplier. Right now, I have purchased a 3ft 240/50 extension cable. The extra length lets me rotate the unit without putting stress on the connectors.
