I got scheduled for October as well. 5 Months for the plug that might catch on fire? Hysterical. This whole saga about charging issues, batteries and plugs is just getting better and better by the day. My Etron is in Service Dept. since yesterday for the Batteries recall, so let's see what new with that.

"Absolutely"? Did you measure that?
I did. I have a pretty bulletproof outlet, with oversized wiring and a very short run from the panel. At 100% power setting, the old charger plug prongs get substantially hotter than those on the new plug. That could make a big difference in some cases.

My cable was destroyed a long time ago as mentioned in the recall notice. When I went to Audi for the recall, they asked me to bring the old cable. However, the old cable has already been destroyed and discarded. Now I can't get anything.

) done yesterday and when I pick up the car as well as the EVSE, the new 220V pigtail is still 180 degree off, so looks like the "newer" parts are still facing the wrong way...
