Possibly. It isn't very accessible unless you take out that bolt in the back - assuming it's connected. Looks like the metal plate is there to secure the coins that you shove in the slots on the inside of the lid. The manual says there are "holders" for coins, a notepad, and a pen. I don't see any holder for a notepad unless it's this protrusion. They don't tell us much, do they?

was wondering if anyone ever figured where the cartridges are located and if they are replaceable by owners rather than going to dealer to replace fragrance cartridges?

Yes. I suppose one is summer and another one is winter scent. It’s in MMI. I like the idea of using them after picking up food to go in the car. It really ionized the cabin nicely after using it for a while.
