Has anyone been able to successfully program their ETron to connect to the Liftmaster 850 gate opener? I have gone thru the programming sequence a few times and it seems like it's an issue with signal strength. I also had difficulty programming our Cayenne to the same opener but eventually did get it working. My S6 has absolutely no issue with this gate opener.

Same Etron opens our rolling code garage door just fine. I do have an antenna attached to the LM 850 but even that does not seem to be helping. Thinking of getting a signal booster.

Some remotes operate on the same frequency as the lane keeping assist which blocks homelink programming. If so you'd need to pull the lane assist fuse while you program. See attached TSB. It worked for me.

Ah - this is brilliant. The LM850 uses 310, 350 and 390 MHz. I bet my remote is set to 310 MHz and that's causing the problem. I will see if I can move the band.

I will share I had 1 opener that really struggled to program (probably related to this), and it took a good 10-15 minutes of constant retries before the system finally got it (but it did, w/o needing to do anything else).

Could be. The TSB says anything within 10 mhz would be affected.
