Does anyone know when this is going to get anything added to it? What is this even for? They've had this MMI system out for a while now and nothing is available.

Plug and charge is supposed to be release OTA to the MMI Purchases any day now.

Electrify America is actually using the Etron as one of their roll out vehicles on this. Just waiting for Audi now...

Plug and Charge will be introduced in 2020: 2020 will bring the first vehicles that utilize ISO 15118 capability on the Electrify America network. Plug and Charge will dramatically improve the customer experience, as there will be no need to swipe a credit card or even use an app to initiate a charging session. The customer will simply pull up and plug in like Tesla owners do at Superchargers. The station will identify the vehicle and automatically bill the customer's account for the session.

FYI this was actually fixed...on Dec 31...so it did technically make it into 2019. See the thread about TSBs to see the magic incantation you need to tell your dealer: https://www.audiworld.com/forums/aud...-list-2986878/ The fix for the charging cable lock is TSB 2057353/1. It's unclear if the /1 at the end is important.

So now you need to pay for not being locked to charger ?
