anyone experiencing this issue or have a suggestion on the fix?
last week I got the new software update campaigns done by dealer. Around the same time - not exactly, not sure - I started getting these error messages on the app.
didn’t care much initially as the app was functioning fine. Till today That I actually realized I can’t use the app to see or change charging settings as well as stationary climate settings. — error already suggests that, I didn’t read the error then.
error: charging planning and stationary climate control could not be updated.
server error: server has sent an invalid reply.
Yeah, I had the server error, this is usual Audi crap, unfortunatly you have to get use to it. I have my e-tron more that a year and Audi could not fix this in more than a year. I just read on Reuters that looks like VW IT chief will be fired, hopefully bunch of top IT people at Audi will be fired too.
I contacted Audi about this issue, and finally they suggested to reset to factory settings which solved the issue. Hence sharing the solution:
- In your vehicle on the MMI, select "Settings"
- Select "System Maintenance"
- Select "Factory Settings"
- Select "Charge timers and profiles"
The issue is most likely caused by the DNS clusterbleep pointed out in another thread here. Resetting stuff cannot magically make a remote service work; you just happened to do that as the reinstated DNS entry was propagating across the Internet.

that could not be. I was experiencing this issue over the course of ~3 weeks. And also looked like I was the only one experiencing it as not many people confirmed getting the same.

Same here. My Audi app shows last updated on June 30th. looks like the car is not communicating to the cloud ( I have tried in many locations, incase it is an AT&T signal strength issue)

Definitely possible! Now that they have a few hundred customers, they ran out of capacity on the old Windows NT server, hence today's upgrade and DNS disruption.
