Since I also occasionally use the 50A plug in the garage to hook up our travel trailer I didn't want to relocate the outlet. So I installed the Clipper Creek unit as shown and when I need to charge (which is once, maybe twice a week) I just back the car into the garage.
Anyone has charger installed outside? Our Garage is ultra small, so planing to have outside setup. Any ideas? Also like passthrough the wall idea? more info pls?

I like this idea. How exactly does that work? I men the passthrough for cable. Do you have reference? (white outlet).

I pick up our etron tomorrow and I’m a neophyte to home charger solutions, as the only thing I have set-up currently is a 240V/16A circuit for our Volvo XC90 T8.
I am having our electrician come over to see if he can get us a 40A; (hopefully a 50A), circuit for the Audi, but I’d like to hear people’s thoughts with far greater experience than me, re: Chargepoint versus Juice Box EVSE’s.
