I posted this in a previous thread.. here’s mine (no sales tax on EV’s in NJ)

Rebate is 7500 + 750 loyalty. I owed 36,500 on my trade.

Thanks for for posting what mileage allowance you got this with?

As much as I love the car, the numbers just don't make sense. I just configured a Tesla Model S Performance which prices out at $106,000. The 36-month lease with $7,500 down is $1,396 a month which is a much more logical figure. I'm not crazy about Tesla and Audi is definitely a higher quality product, but paying more per month on a vehicle that is substantially cheaper just doesn't make sense.

I don't know what they are doing, but something makes no sense.

if you were in PA (we have 9% lease tax), assuming I give you exactly what is owed on the trade (a different subject), 0 due at signing....not a penny, no first month payment, I'd be at under $1300 a month, 36 months, 7500 miles a year

They’re now offering $1,100 a month, 36 months, 7,500 miles a year, with $7,500 down. Good deal? That is inclusive of the tax. In Washington State, the tax is tacked on to the monthly payment. I assume it’s the same in PA?

7500 down on top of the $7500 federal rebate? You really shouldn't put money down on a lease.
