Default ED of S-line cars temporarily suspended

"As a result of the recent extreme winter conditions throughout Europe, and the newly implemented mandatory winter tire regulations in Germany, deliveries of S-line models and vehicles equipped with summer performance tires have been temporary suspended. I think this already doesn't apply anymore. I just ordered an ED S4, I got my letter says I can pick up after April 4. So if you have not ordered yet, this is not going to affect you.

Yeah, the wording made me think this would only be a problem if I would be picking up the car during the winter months (my current plan is for a September pick up). They could have made that clearer though.

Thanks!

Ok, I got confirmation from AoA today that the suspension is indeed temporary because of the bad weather and that the "restriction is expected to be lifted in the upcoming weeks as the weather improves."

If your car comes after March you should be fine I already went back to summer tires on my other car. Haven't seen bad snow since January.
