Default awesome...now i hope "accompanying combined fuel economy rises from 17 mpg to over 20 mpg."

means closer to mid to upper 20s instead of 21...as a benchmark what does the 335 get on the highway?

Default This is true...

...if you could boost the 4.2L V8. You can't though for a reasonable amount of money.

Out of the box, I think I would agree with you, the 4.2L V8 would be enough for me, as I have a B5 S4 /w Stage I chip and it felt like everything I needed.

That said, I have a pair of K04's sitting down in my basement to be installed this weekend, which will make the big displacement V8 look like a slouch.

The arguments that people are making about the 2.7T being unreliable, really comes down to a poor choice of turbos for the S4. It would have likely been cheaper even if Audi went with the K04's straight from the factory.

Default Is there a reason why the rendering is based on the regular A4 rather than the S-Line?

If you pay closer attention to the fog light opening:

A4

Default It's going to have less power than the B7? I know the engine will be more well-rounded, but...

I'm skeptical they'd replace the outgoing model with one with less peak HP, simply by the reasoning that it looks bad on a spec sheet.

Maybe it'll have 350HP?

I can dream...
