This engine will probrably trickle down into an A3 or A6.. (135i...535i)... this will be interesting

What Audi motor was weaker than its predecessor, that you know of? With exception of UrS4>B5S4

Default Drive a Stage 3 B5 and you'll change your tune.
I'll concede that the B6 and B7 are probably more refined, the V8 sounds sweet, stock vs stock they're faster but... nothing makes me giggle like mashing gas in my stage 3 B5. The torque makes passengers visibly sink deep into their seat and their eyes get as big a saucers. The exhaust wail on the 2.7T is the best sounding 6 banger I've ever heard.

Its about time Audi gets back into the Turbo game!
Paragraphs 4-7 summed up my opinion on the B6/B7 S4 pretty well.

I think I read somewhere that someone was guessing they might do a triplecharger(biturbo + a blower)...maybe we can expect this on the next gen. RS4?
