Default 2.6l stroker info

I'm looking at doing a 2.6l bottom end for my s4. I was looking at what year 2.5l evrovan crank i would need. I heard that one has smaller jurnals and s cars need the crnak with larger jurnals. So what year crank do i need that has these larger jurnals?

I'm gonna put it in a 7a block with the larger bore and the bottom end is gonna have 2.5 crank in 7a block, pauter rods, and je pistons with 9.5-1 or 9-1, don't know yet.

as well do all 7a blocks have oil sqirters or is thier a specific year that does have it?

Thanks

Default Email this guy...

Although I haven't been able to prompt a response in a while...maybe you can. And if you do, please tell him I need the money for my K24.

Chris at devilinsidetunin@aol.com

He even has the blocks if you need them, and has put some strokers together.

Cheers,
Fru-T

Why not get it from eurospec? I found it was cheaper then building it myself.

Default Ya I saw the negative feed back on the rods, and there is little protection from detonation

I would rather bend a rod then push the crank out of the bottom of the motor. I can show you more pictures of bent carrillo's. Honestly if you are worried about bending like you saw those eagles bent then I must say you are picking the wrong rod. go with an I beam. I have a set of Pauters for another car and after looking at them compared to Carrillo's, Eagles etc... I think they are bottom of the barrel. I have tryied Pauters stuff of and on over the years and can say he can definetly hang good counterweights but I don't trust him to make descent rocker arms or con-rods. If the x rod was a good idea don't you think that auto manufacturers would be using it?

You want to see negative feedback see racers say about Pauter rods and even more Pauter rocker arms.

Default You can try peter at turbomotorsports technologies in londonderry nh...

i was told by a couple people (including dahlback) that i would be very happy with just doing pistons and rods and not an 2.6 stroker.

Consider Dahlbacks rods as well
