Check intercooler and Cheerios
I had this symptom a few years ago.
The rubber "Cheerios" around the spark plug leads had degraded at the base of the spark plug well. I swapped out all 5 with a fellow owner and all ignition/boost issues went away up to about 4500 RPM.
Still stumbling, I began checking for boost leaks.
I had a pinhole in my stock IC that when replaced, cleared up the remaining issues.
