Default after a second glance i noticed the an style fittings so that means i would have to swap my...

fuel rail. Dosent it?

You just can't do it with the limited tweaks available on the Motronic ME5. However it is a piece of cake with ME7.1 (e.g. via Lemmiwinks) or on Stand-Alone systems such as 034 or VEMS.

5Bar FPR. More Hp. VAG-COM only. No S/w changes.
STFA for 'Stage 3-'.

Requires tweaking via FPR

Default I think Dave's point...

...is that with the Motronic s/w that comes with the car, there's not a lot of FPR tuning that can be done. You have to change the software (like you said - 7.1 or standalone) to do that kind of thing.

An FPR is cheap. Software is expensive. THe temptation to do tuning with an FPR, rather than tweaking, is the bone of contention, it seems.

Default You missed my point. You can't just (ONLY) use a AFPR, you need aftermarket s/w to work with it.

As in non-stock OE Motronic.
