Alternative RS2 injectors

I have been reading a little regarding the injectors spray patterns (in general).
What I understood from what I was reading is that the spray pattern is nearly as important as the flow.
A good spray pattern will give you a better start and throttle response.
The RS2 injectors (Bosch 0280 150 984) were produced in the nineties.
I would think that 15 years of Bosch technology and research has brought us similar flow injectors with a much better spray pattern.
What do you think?
I am sure there is a Bosch injector that is cheaper, similar flow rate and much better spray pattern on the market.
Would you recommend something?
PS: I am not talking about replica, I am talking about a Bosch brand injector.
Thank you

You're right, those RS2's are an older generation of injector. These 034 ones are a lot newer. The 42lb "Greentops" are a little newer but still the older style gneration. Both of these style of injectors are proven though. You really can't go wrong with either. If it was me though, I'd go with the 42's. They can be used with a big turbo upgrade (Garrett 3071/ etc.) later on down the road (if it comes to that).

Replica's

Stock injectors on the left, RS2 replica on the right. I would think the real RS2 is somewhat the same in style and spray pattern but obviously more flow than stock.
Ignore the middle - I forgot the name.
