Default What do you mean ?

At service intervals, the odometer measuring distance travelled gives a oil or maintenance service warning. This needs to be reset once the service is done.

Default You can't reset it w/ out the VW/Audi tool

If you can get the diag tool.. you can set it for dif. intervals(ie: 3,000 5,300, 7,500 or something like that). I've got to reset mine this week.

Default You're in the right place.

You need a dealer to reset it or a VAG tool (with your PC) or Pro Diag (with your palm) to recode it. I just ignore mine.
You won't find many auto urS's here as this is mostly a N.A. group and we didn't get the slush box here - gotta be the first time ever, and surely the last that any auto make will give us the manual and not the auto - it's always the reverse now.
