Default I have a set of STI coils that I haven't used yet. People here didn't seem super enthused about 'em

but you let me know how they turn out

Default I don't know those coils. Unless they are known to be superior to the OE Bremi 115Rs I would say

pass on them. How cheap can they be?

Default that's the funny thing though Dave, is that they come in OE 115R boxes.. Keeg ordered coils for me

and those are what were packaged.

Default Okay, I remember the story. Karlyn owns STI and (EDIT) *represents* Bremi in the US. So...

it could make some sense to see an STI coil pack in a Bremi/Audi 115R box. Probably still the same manufacturer, Bremi, regardless. (Maybe) Anybody with contacts in Karlyn that can confirm/deny any of this?

See the link below.<ul><li><a href="http://www.karlynsti.com/Folders/Bremi%20Ignition.htm">http://www.karlynsti.com/Folders/Bremi%20Ignition.htm</a</li></ul>

Default I have one in right now. It was all that was available at the moment.

I now have a couple of 115R's (one was to replace the STI coil... and one for a spare.) however; the car seems to run fine w/ the sti coil.

Probably because the STI and Bremi coils are now identical under the lable.
