Anyone using Mobil 1 Fully Synth. AFT in their P/S system? T44 forum had a few doing it...
Pentosin (aka Liquid Gold -not the wood polish) is a bit pricey to do a flush and replacement w/ and I've read a few posts on the Type 44 forum of people using the Mobil 1 Fully Synth ATF fluid as a complete replacement. With good results. This would be especially handy if your p/s system is leaking.
Just wondering if anyone is using anything other than the 7.1 Pentosin.

Just doesn't have the cold temps the Pentosin Synth has.
But lots of type$$ listers have been using it for a long while with good results. & as you noted it is cheaper.
Some have used a Castrol as well...but I've heard more BTDT on the Mobil stuff.
