Default 3rd, I have always liked there pads, they used to be called Repcos until the late eighties.

You could only get them in the back of Car and Driver and from specialty import places like Foreign Parts Bin(Worldpac) When they changed the name to PBR it made me laugh. I always think of the line out of Blue Velvet.

Default IMO Those parts are a lot of added bucks for not much bang

The wear sensor system in my car was way more trouble than it was worth so I disabled it.

2-piece rotors probably give better performance as far as fade resistance, but the added cost vs. added performance ratio is questionable. I'm willing to give up a little performance to have rotors that can be replaced for $80 ($65 if you don't mind running Zimmerman.)

Default exactly. I disabled the sensors on my car soon after i bought it.

and i don't track my car nor do i plan on it, so the OEM rotors are more than sufficient for me.

Default $1158.21 (plus tax no doubt.)

Not bad.
If I could find a set of Bira stage 1 brackets laying around somewhere, I would be interested in running Boxster calipers and 312X25 A8 rotors.

The extra 5mm of pad surface (radial measurement) would be nice, but I think I could get in to that set up for a couple hundred less.
Used would be fine too, in my books.

So does anyone have a set of those bracket laying around or the dimensions to have a set fabricated? How much different are they than RS2 brackets? Is machining a set of RS2 bracket an option?

I'll try Ceramics when these Hawks wear out.

Plus the highly required RS2 brackets that make it all possible?
