They stop just as good as any BBK... for one stop.
Don't get to down on the G60s. With good rotors, pads, and brake fluid they do stop the UrS cars well. Some of it could be body movement to as how much dive before you actually feel like you are stopping can be an influencing factor.
I did piece together my own BBK, 05-06 A6 321 rotors, 911TT calipers, and had some SS brackets made. I think I'm into it for around 500 but normal porsche BBKs are just over a 1000 if you go A8 rotors, 928 calipers and RS2 brackets.
IMO the porsche standard boxer setup is probablty the best bang for the buck out there now.
