Default Bilstein custom revalving...Help

Gents,

I sent my Bilstein Sports to the factory to have them custom revalved.
I contacted Hap before and ask his point of view on the setting increase.
I am running ABT springs.

Hap adviced to me the following:
+ 20% compression and +30% Rebound

I asked Bilstein to give me their opinion based on my ABT spring rates (front 415-425#'s and the rears between 440-460#'s)

Bilstein engineer just called me back with the following setting:

- Front: +30% compression +100% rebound
- Rear: +20% compression +25% rebound

I told Bilstein this was not my DD and I intended to use it on the track as well as on street.

I am a bit shocked by the 100% rebound on the front.
I really want the car to handle the best bust I do not want to mess up other mechanical/suspension parts because of the crazy rebound.

What do you guys think of it?

Default percentages mean nothing

IF the rebound rate was small then increasing it 100% may not be a big deal. Question to ask is why so much..

Default It depends on your personal shock, as said above. If Hap's started out with,,,

a different base line, then his might only need 25%.

Bilstein engineers said so much because of the car's heavy nose
