Default Brake Pressure Accumulator location

Where is the Brake Pressure Accumulator aka BOMB located on the S4 ?

Default Basically under the driver's frame rail by the intercooler

Easy to see from underneath, quite well hidden from above. Follow the high pressure line off the PS pump that goes over towards the WW reservoir- it connects to and pressurizes the bomb.

Default You can get rebuilt for under $100, not too bad to change. The banjo bolts can be a PITA...

but only because they're very fine thread and have to be just about perfectly lined up before they'll start. You're fighting the hoses, which makes it more interesting. It took me close to 20 minutes to get one to thread once.

Default Be careful breaking the banjo bolts loose, one of mine snapped

that sucked. 4hr roundtrip on a sunday to Chefbob's Audi Parts and I was back on the road...
