Default Car feels very slow

This feels like deja vu, but I'm getting hesitation when accelerating again. Very similar to what I had with my last avant. The car just feels slow 90% of the time. I'll step on the gas in the sweet spot of the RPM range (3-4K) and boost will build quickly, but the car doesn't really 'get up and go' like it should. It doesn't act like a boost leak, since the car pulls like a freight train once in a while (10% of time). If it was a boost leak, or something permanent, it would always act sluggish. Plus, the boost gauge shows that I'm making good boost (23 psi), even when the car is barely accelerating.

Coils/POS - I thought that might be the culprit, so I swapped out the OEM setup and replaced it with 1.8T coils (all R version). I have about 12 1.8T coils in total, so I've swapped coils multiple times to see if one might be going bad, but it made no difference.

The spark plugs, fuel filter, air filter and oxygen sensor have all been replaced within the past 10K miles. Voltmeter shows that I've got 13-14 volts, so alternator appears to be healthy.

Can anyone else think of what might be wrong? Could a weak fuel pump cause this? That's the only thing that I can think of at this point. ARGH!!

FYI - engine mods include: MTM 1+, RS2 EM, Hyperboost BPV, Michelin Man Samco

Default alternatively you can pull the fuse above the ECU for a few minutes

It's the 5 amp red one in the holder just above the ECU. Slightly left of the center of the ecu.

Bad gas can make a big difference. I've experienced this.

Default FPR or could be the software? MTM does not push enough fuel upon intial WOT

ease into the boost till 3000 rpm and then floor it in 2nd or 3rd, any change? MTM will run rich under boost if you get into it slowly at first
