Default Chip Tuning

I love the way stock drives but lately I had driven my Brother's 200 20v and it seems that it is time to up the hp. Does anyone have suggestions on chip tuning (1995.5 S6 Wagon with Samco, K&N etc.), in terms of companies to go with? I have heard of inmotion but dom't know anything about them. My brother's chip was through intended accerlation and it seems to work well. There is couple local shops here in Denver that offer chips services too. But I wanted to get some imput.

Thanks for the help.

Buy my car - unplug the ecu - swap it into yours. Custom software setup for Colorado.

It sounds like you are looking for someone local to do the complete job for your car. I recommend you talk to Steve Eiche at shadetreesoftware.com. He can certainly do the chip tuning for you and can provide an unbiased opinion of where to go for more hardware installations if you need it.

The tuning packages that provide ~20psi boost can reveal weaknesses in your ignition system that are not a problem at stock boost, so you might want to have someone ready if you are not going to do this work yourself.

Default Chip Help

Thanks to everyone. I have upgraded to the samco hoses and 1.9 bar spring. There is a couple other items on my hot list but a chip seems like the next step. I am going to speak with some local shops and see what they have to say. Is there anything that I should think about upgrading besides what I mentioned?

Many find that this increased performance creates a need for better brakes and suspension.

I just upgraded the suspension with Billstein Sports and H&R lowering springs. In addition I just put new tie rods and control arms front and back.

Now, I would like to upgrade the brakes but Geez it is a bunch of money. I will keep my ear down and see if I can catch a deal.
