Default D585 plug wire question... what set do you choose if you stick with the AAN valve cover?

What is the best suggestion for the plug side of the wires if you choose to keep the AAN valve cover in place? Everything else is already on a UPS truck, and I just need to order my plug wires. What do you guys suggest, and what are my options for sourcing these besides Aurora and Magnecor?

I used an MSD generic kit from Kragen Auto Parts. I have to use needle nose plier to put them on/off

A generic Chevy kit? I wonder if a "custom" VR6 plug wire tool would help you....

Default Not the Chevy kit, the plug ends werent right. Just a generic 8 cyl kit. Straight plug boots and

just crimped on the 90° ends. The straight boots reach just to the top of the valve cover so you have to have a way to push them on securely. I think it was around $40 and I had lots of extra's. 8mm too.

Default 034 wires but you have to cut and crimp your own GM ends to make them fit on the coil side

the plug side fits under the OEM cover

All of our new AAN plugs wires have a bunch of clearance under them for the AAN cover.

Default I have been quoted $129 CDN for a custom set from Aurora. 8.5mm wires and custom length too.

I am waiting for him to get back with me about a possible better plug side boot, more to follow tomorrow.

Default EFIexpress aka Mark Swanson has the 034 wires withe the right GM connectors, and he ships fast too!

Call him, email, etc.
He's a good guy and knows the conversion as he
also sells a kit.<ul><li><a href="http://www.efiexpress.com/catalog/">http://www.efiexpress.com/catalog/</a></li></ul>
