That's what I figured. I just wasn't sure if the dealer did it differently.

Can be accessed without cutting, but it's a lot of stiff/molded carpet to fold over.

Default But what would a dealer do to a brand new car at delivery?

I would think cutting would be 'bad'. especially for a guy buying a $50k car... last thing he'd want to see is torn up carpets.

Default The cut is along the fold of the carpet from the floor up to the center console, barely noticable

The driver would never see it and the passenger would probably have to be looking for it to notice it was cut.

Default I'm guessing that since you're not like OMGWTFBBQ!

That the ECU is stock. "real" RS2 = 315 to 380hp depending on which chipset you have.

Just the RS2 exhaust manifold might give you another 10hp or so over stock.

Even less noticable with a floor mat in place =)

Default To be honest...

I haven't even gotten on it that hard yet... it seems to motor right along though. Very smooth and powerful, but I've never driven one before this so I don't know how fast they SHOULD be

My old WRX was terrifyingly fast with 360hp and a STI Type RA box in it (long 1st and 2nd gear... 65mph in 2nd)

So, I don't have anything to compare it to.

Oh it's good. Just unnecessary unless the car was at least chipped.

Default If I snap a photo of it, could someone tell me if it's really an RS2 EM.

I can do it in the morning.
