Default Discuss : GT3076R@30psi. CR Gasket. Stock engine internals. Who's done it ? Who's tried and failed ?
Current wisdom is that GT3071R is the limit for stock AAN internals. How about GT3076R ?

How about other related 10VT, 20VT engines ?

Am I really going to be first ?

Default I've tuned a 3071 to 460whp
which I would not attempt on a car with stock internals.

"Need" vs. "want". I'd love to have 500AWHP in my S6. Oh, yess - I could scare lots of kittens and squirrels with a monster like that.

But Spending all that dough, then spending more on top when stuff breaks - that's something I really don't need.

Default Oh, yes, I *do* kill the AWHP kittehs.
But since I am nowhere near a tuner to help with the s/w side, I am limited in what I can actually do. And all the fab work would have to be sourced.

No, dreaming about big HP numbers is fun, but the practical side of me knows the limit of both my patience and my pocketbook.

Both of which have some female strings attached, you know.
