Looks like it will give quicker spool, but may restrict top end power
I just started researching it online and from what I gathered it has the exhaust inlet divided into two separate paths. One goes to a small scroll for fast spool and the other gos to a larger spool for better top end. Both spools are mounted on the same shaft.
