Default The boots are fine... how hard is it to disassemble?

Can I just disconnect the brake line without fluid spewing all over the place? I assume I have to bleed the brakes again after..

Default no, it was my passanger side as well.

the cables get rusty inside and don't release smooth any more. crawl under the car and you should be able to turn the parking brake cams with your hand and they should release under the pressure of the spring. if they do that fine, them it's your cables.
