Does the E39 M5 lip just fit THIS perfectly? Or is slight modification involved?

Those of you with this on your cars, where did you get it? How much? I see them on eBay painted for $50, but I'm wondering about the quality...

and had them painted with the car. I saw one on a black S6 at SFest, I think that one was painted and then added to the car. You could not tell and it looked very nice. (Germantoys' car)

got mine painted and shipped to the door for $60. Although for the Passat, the size depends on what car. Paint finish is fine, matched what was on the car. I screwed up installing mine and it is 1/8" off to one side.
The guy I used was in Michigan, forgot his name.

I can attest a lot of the ebay stuff is exceptionally shoddy quality.
I can confirm a last generation M3 has a 46" span.
We need a 47" span to neatly conform to our trunk lid.
BTW, do not expect any downforce regardless of speed. Ironically as its less than 40mm tall & quite a shallow angle you should see a net drag decrease which will increase fuel efficiency.
For reference this type of spoiler creates a low pressure zone behind helping to suck air out from underneath.
