How many bets are on the fuel pump?
The fault codes are "4411" and "2111"
Local mechanic thinks it is the fuel pump also.
The car at first would fire up for a few seconds and then bog down.
From searching the forums, I see that the two things that could make the car suddenly not start are the fuel pump and the CPS.
Looking through my records of previous maintence, I didn't find the fuel pump being serviced even though I could have sworn that I saw it there before when I read that if the car has over 100k miles, it should be replaced.

to run for a bit and die, but if you have cleared the codes and it did not return then it's most likely the CPS.
