Dumb question of the week : which way does the crank turn ?
Standing out the front of the car facing the crank pulley, which way does it turn ? I think it's clockwise but not entirely sure and can't fire up the engine to check...

Pfff... everything was under control. You can tell from our voices that...
we were all cool as cucumbers.
Since it was my engine, I did the cranking. I waited before saying anything until my friends seemed convinced it worked. You can actually hear me at the end... "JESUS!? IT WORKED!?" As you can tell, everything was under control.
