Default Engine Mounts ?

My S6 suddenly developed a shudder at about 40-50 MPH that I could feel through the Gas Pedal. More apparent on rough road surface.
I had the wheels balanced and had the alignment checked...as well as inspected the front and rear suspension components and bushings. Many of which are fairly new. Swapped tires with another set I have to rule this out. Checked the engine codes for a misfire but all was well.
Today I noticed that my Left Engine Mount looked shot. Are these symptoms characteristic of this sort of failure? How difficult of a Job is it to change this out? I wasn't able to locate anything in Bentley on the subject.

Much appreciated~

Default Engine Mount Removal

To quote UrSoccerMobile:

"Remove top nut on both mounts.. Remove airbox to access the pass/turbo side. Support engine with a floor jack via the oil pan with a 2x4 piece of wood so you will not crack the pan. Remove the remaining bolts and lift up - up enough to get them to slide out."

034 makes some stiffer mounts called "Street Density"

Default Many Thanks...

The R&R doesn't appear to be all that technical. Not certain why I couldn't locate the specifics in Bentley. Do the symptoms make sense for this sort of failure?

Much appreciated folks~
