I know this info is buried in the s-car-list archives, but I can't get google to give me anything useful from there anymore.
I want to buy the blind spot mirrors and the S4 euro headlight lenses, ideally from the same vendor. Can someone help me with part numbers and/or suggest a vendor? TIA.

4B0 857 535 B - drivers side, heated, blindspot
Available from VAG Parts in the UK.
For the lens, don't have the part number handy, but this is available stateside in aftermarket OE form (Hella). PG Performance or PUMA will have these.

http://www.vagparts.com/</a

and does not have "objects are smaller than they appear" written on it.
Personally, I'd keep the convex ones because it reduces the blind-spot.

s-cars post: "4B1 857 536 C for the 125 mm RH convex heated mirror glass and 4B0 857 535 B for the 175 mm LH heated mirror glass with the euro convex strip"
The RH one isn't listed on the vagparts site though. Hmm..

I wonder what the number for continental european RH mirrors is. I want convex on both sides, and preferably no "objects in mirror..." BS engraved in it. ("Do not stand on top step of ladder", "do not drop hair dryer in tub", "avoid staring into laser with remaining eye")

Actually, I think I'm wrong about the non-convex thing.
I think it *is* convex, but does not have the writing on it.
So, if I'm right, then the only difference between the US-spec and e-spec passenger mirror for LHD is the writing.
I can't access my euro ETKA, so I can't confirm.
