Default How recent are your mods???

Was the SW part of your RS2 upgrade package? I notice you don't list an RS2 fuel pressure regulator. If you're stock then you have 4.0 vs 3.8 bar for the RS2 which, if the SW doesn't compensate will put you a bit rich.

If the coil packs or POS were bad you would definately feel the miss that they would produce. I'd be leaning toward a software or boost leak issue. An adjustable fuel pressure regulator might give you a partial fix. If its not a boost leak, then a new SW suite might be the way to go. Some of the CO RS2 guys have been very happy with the Pastore/Eiche generic SW. Minhea can give you something generic or semi-custom. HTH.

Default Hap, Dahlback uses the 4 Bar FPR I think...

Plus, a .2 Bar difference in fuel pressure won't make the car run "off the scale" rich IMHO...

I'd say it could be a coil/ignition problem if there is definitely no boost leak...

Default Re: boost leak

Thanks for your insight guys.
I can't rule out a boost leak because my guage flutters at max boost - but I am hitting 25 PSI and keeping it, so it seems a leak wouldn't be that large.

Another local guy, bangetek, runs the exact same setup without issue - his A/F was good on the last dyno run, so I think it's something specific to my car.

Default It could still be a leak

Although you're holding 25 psi, if the leak isn't that big, it'll still be enough for the ECU to be fooled into dumping more fuel in the combustion chambers and run pig rich...

And if the leak is not important enough, you won't notice it on a boost gauge because the ECU will try to reach programmed boost as much as possible...

Pressurize the intake system and make sure there's no leaks. There could be one.

Default Definitely pressure check the intake...

but also look into an ignition issue. If the car was stuttering hard between 4k and 6k rpm that could be the sign of a spark issue. From my memory coil pack failure results in a stutter, I've felt failures do different things though. Most noteable being the second the car was in boost it misfired nicely, stuttering was quite apparent.

Good Luck!
