Is this the fill plug for the transmission?

Dumb question - Is the front transaxle and transmission connected internally?
It looks to be 2 separate pieces. So If I drain and fill it here, it includes the transmission, right?

Yeah, so I figured. The correct amount of fluid came out and went in.
It does make me wonder why there are two drain plugs. But whatever. New fluid didn't fix my balking shifter problem anyway.
