In fact in Photo 6 Fred says he couldn't find the timing mark on his car. I did on mine.

Default It's all in how you interpret the information. Fred shows where the mark should be and then goes on

to show that you probably don't need it.

Sometimes "negative" data is just as important as "positive" data.

Plus now at least 32 people have seen the timing belt R&amp;R pdf (and hopefully saved it to their hard drives).
