Nate - so whats the construction of the fuel lines of a 500+ WHP car?
I assume that its some sort of rubber hose with stainless reinforcement - no? Or is it solid ?
What kind of pressure is that? like 40-50 psi?
Whats reliability of a 044 powering a 400+whp car?

It could be done in hard line as well, but takes much longer and a bit more tooling to do right.
Line pressure depends on FPR pressure and boost levels. UrS cars start at 4bar (58psi) and rise with boost pressure to keep the pressure differential across the injectors the same. So if you're running 30psi of boost you'll have 88psi of fuel pressure from the pump to the rail.
As for reliability, these are pretty much the industry standard race series fuel pumps used by tons of top teams for nearly every form of racing out there. They've got arguably the best track record of any pump I can think of off hand.
There is a Bosch step up from the 044 though, the 413 pump. It's basically an 044 pump that tested out at a higher capacity and pressure rating than the normal 044s on the production line. So those get yanked off the normal line, get a little more special care, and a price tag 2x as high stuck on them![Smile](https://www.audiworld.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
I'll try to get some shots of the kit up on the website today for you guys.
