Gents..anyone know what/if there are any performance differences between those 2 hotside options? Since I am doing the bottom end of my car now...after I do the FMIC I might go larger on the turbo w/ a K26/TO4E 54° But I know that our beloved Hap..had a TA34 Hotside.
Just wondering how they might compare...as looking for highway performance and not concerned about stop-light to stop-light lag.

I was talking to Lehmann this morning about the Trans Ams turbos I have which have a K27 #9 hotside. These are from a Pikes peak car and he remembers the turbos and the manifold that his shop built for these turbos. The reason why I called him was because I was looking for a #7 K27 hotside. He said the 20V motors never ran a hotside smaller than #9 in race trim. They used #9s and up. And thats for a K27 wheel which is quite a bit heavier than the K26. Sorta explains why the Audi racecars never really had turbo failures huh?? I thought that was really interesting.
