Default Gauge Pod options

I've found a few threads regarding gauge pods
one was the simple A-pillar gauge... which I'm leaning towards due to cost

and the upholstered ones look nice.

I also read that the Mk4 gauge pods that go over the steering column fit too?

New South makes a few:

Single, Single offset and dual.

I couldn't find any photos though. Do they really work?

Getting a boost gauge, but should I get the dual pod and get another gauge? if so, what? EGT? AFR?

You can also use the A-Pillar gauge pods from an early A4, the fit is very close.

That is the gauge that I run (along with a TDS-1). I mounted it in an Autometer A4 20191 A-pillar pod (painted ecru to match my interior)

I run an aluminum plate where the ashtray used to be. Came with the car and I won't change it. The good thing is that I can install 2 60mm gauges (if I ever get the Defis that I wanted...)

Are you going to install them? Or sell?

I had a full set of DEFI gauges with the control pod in my old WRX

Loved them, just think they are too 'japanese' for this car.
I'm thinking of getting an autometer Phantom II and putting a red LED for the backlighting.

Autometer with backlighting? You sure?

My Defi's are NLA actual gauges, NOT the black-faced ones.

Install. (Once I get through my "HoneyDo" list).

An S-car could get you through a divorce better than a wife can get you through times of no-S-car but an S-car doesn't fit IN the bed as well as a wife.
