I'm looking for a replacement hatch handle for my 94 S4 Avant V8, and I'm having huge problems finding it. Mine broke on the inside of the hatchback and can't be fixed. Most places tell me my car doesn't even exist. Any help would be appreciated.

Using the ATP, All models, feature, plugging 4A9827565D into both the USA and Local markets versions of A10Q and A6Q yields 91 to 97 100/A6/S4/S6 avants for Europe and 94 to 98 100/A6/S6 for USA all used the same "grip molding"
But KATE could be a lieing beotch.

From what I understood, he was talking about the rear exterior hatch release handle. I could have misinterpreted what was written. I was thinking when the inside was mentioned, it meant the handle mech. broke inside the hatch, not the interior hatch handle. Regardless, if he or she meant the interior hatch handle, I may still know where one is if the car is still at the junkyard and not being turned into metal mush.

Thanks for all the help...Yes, this is the exterior hatch handle that sits just above the license plate. I'll see if the part # matches up at the dealership next week. I'll let you know. Thanks!

You're exactly right! The handle mechanism is broke inside the hatch, but as far as I can tell, it all comes out as one part. If I send you a pix of the handle, do you think you could check your parts connection? Thanks for assistance!

That is why a friend who just got the euro center panel is having to trim his handle. Its not a huge deal but the handle is different. Tell KATE to kiss my ***!

Are you sure you want to US version? Like the 100 avant on your side of the pond, our C4 avants center panels are 2 pieces and the handle is a little different. It would need to be trimmed to clear the 1 piece center panel that I'm guessing you have.
