Default head gasket R&R turned 'time for improvements' update

I got the head back on the car and then had a fight with my Stromung downpipe. It lost :-D

The Stromung has a transition from 2.5->3" after the wastegate pipe junction and I really needed it to start at 3" for my v-band flange on the turbo. I ended up keeping the bottom portion of the downpipe and re-using parts of the wastegate tube but the rest of it was all re-done. I'm really happy with how it came out since now there is MUCH more clearance against the tie rods all the way around. Spent all day routing it the way I wanted but it came out pretty good.

Decided to go with a phenolic spacer from Vast Performance while I was in there:

Looking forward to driving my car again some time soon...

Do you think the spacer would allow enough room to clear a 3B IM over an AAN valve cover?

Default possibly

its about 1/4" thick, and the 3B IM just barely doesn't fit from what I've seen....

Default I'll never know, really

I decided to go with a v-band from the get-go as well as upgrade to 3" turbo back so if the fitment is off I wouldn't be able to tell. It looked like everything lined up as far as I could tell but I never physically bolted up the stock setup to the turbo with the EM installed.
