Default 4300K is going to give far better visibility for looking down the road.

As soon as you start stepping up to 5K and above, the blue light looks brighter to oncoming traffic, but it becomes progressively harder for the eye to perceive.

plus you look like less of a blue-bulb douche. win-win. +1 to DDM slim profiles.

Default went with the 4300k, Now to get some nice new euro lenses.

Are the lights worth relaying? I thought I read somehwere they had less draw than the standard halogens...

Default depends on what wattage you went with. 35W HID < 55W OEM.

therefore relaying is really of minimal benefit - the stock wiring has to deliver 4 amps for 55W at 13VDC. 35W is only 2.7 amps at 13VDC. should be fine through the stock wires.

Default Typically yes, just remember there is what's called an "in-rush" current to the ballasts...

to fire the HID's, if you fuse is too small, or not time delayed, it will blow. I didn't relay mine and they are fine, but some people have had issues with the bulb check display.

I'm in awe at how cheap HIDs have become... kinda like the value of our cars!

Default Skip......

For $65.99 (price of the VVME with shipping added) I would much rather the digital DDM tuning kit. They're in the USA (VVME is not) and they have a lifetime warranty. The ballasts are tiny and super easy to hide. Just my $.02

Default They quoted me $58 shipped to US, while DDM was $85 (to WA UPS ground). Worth the

extra $27?
