The noise would probably go down if the fuel lines were upsized proportionally to the increased....
flow that the 044 can put out. Nobody (AFAIK) has done this but it certainly sounds like a good idea to a) decrease sound and b) eliminate an unnecessary head lost. There would be a co$t to such fuel line changes. However, if the fuel lines are old and your car has seen salt, the likelihood is the OE lines will need replacement anyway, at some point.
